2024

2024 was a transformative year for me, both personally and professionally. This is my first time reflecting on an entire year, and I must say—it’s been one incredible ride! 🚀

I traveled. A LOT. I visited breathtaking places and met amazing people.
Backpacking with classmates, driving through mountains and plains, and even horseback riding across rugged terrains—it was all pure adventure.

From Dalhousie and Manali to Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonmarg, Jammu, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer… every place had its own charm. Traveling with friends made it even more special, turning every trip into a wild, unforgettable experience. 🌄✨

Personal Growth 🌱

• Startup Life: Joining a startup was a game-changer. It gave me the opportunity to dive into real-world coding, build meaningful projects, and solve problems that mattered to me.
• Building & Learning: I spent countless days (and sleepless nights) building things that excited me. I also immersed myself in books that taught me how things scale and how to write high-quality code.
• TypeScript Affair: Over the past two years, I’ve fallen in love with TypeScript. It’s my go-to language now. With its strong typing and type safety, it helps me focus on what I want to build without worrying about pesky bugs like undefined.
• Nuxt 3 Enthusiasm: Oh, Nuxt 3—what a framework! It’s been such a joy to work with it.
• The Journey to Feeling Like an Engineer: I can confidently say that I’ve grown into a true software engineer. I’ve learned to debug, adapt, and build with confidence.

On a less rosy note, I sacrificed a lot of sleep this year. Late nights, early mornings—it’s been exhausting, but the learning and growth made it worthwhile. I’m determined to focus more on my well-being next year.

Goals for 2025

• Gen AI Enthusiasm: I’ve joined a course on Generative AI, and it’s been so much fun! From building LLMs to creating AI agents, I’m loving every bit of it.
• Books to Conquer: I’ve got three books lined up to keep learning and growing.
• TypeScript Mastery: Time to level up my TypeScript skills even further.
• Learn Hindi: Duolingo, here I come! This is the year I finally learn Hindi.
• Tackle DSA: I’ve always avoided Data Structures and Algorithms because it felt dull compared to building apps. But this year, I’ll tackle it head-on.
• Health & Well-Being: 2025 is going to be about balance. I’ll focus on getting proper sleep, staying active, and prioritizing my mental and physical health.

2024 was an incredible year, filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable memories. Here’s to 2025—another year of learning, building, and exploring! 🎉
